The influence of the first fill Oloroso sherry cask has resulted in a very dry whisky, with marked winey notes and an intense nose of sour red fruits (wild berries, cherries, but also peaches). At the palate, the dry character of the sherry is dominating: fragrantly fruity, but very spicy and hot, sharp like a blade.
