The Balvenie Founder's Reserve is a marriage of single malt matured in both ex-bourbon and sherry casks, created by malt master, David Stewart. This former cornerstone of the Balvenie core range was discontinued in 2009.
Matured only in the best oak barrels, the 10 year aged single Benromach malt offers delicate hints of berries and creamy malt, a touch of smoke and rich and lasting sherry notes.
Produced at the distillery in the Highland town of Knockando, this is an older bottle of Tamdhu 10 year old from the 1980s.
